Who Am I to Be Talking?

The reason why I can talk about these things is I used to be one of those folks above that I'm  talking about. I was a struggling entrepreneur turned successful internet marketer.

It hasn't always been easy and like anyone, my Internet marketing experiences have been a mixture of highs and lows. I started out with out even knowing the first thing about how to get traffic to my offer. Back in the day when  I had no idea of the difference between a laundry list or email list. I was completely, utterly in the dark.

Then in 2001 I signed on as a Pro Money Mail.com Partner/ affiliate where I was promised share of the corporate's profits of the Pro Money Mail program. That end up being nothing more than a MLM program in disguise. That all sounded good but led to another disappointing dead end! 

Then in 2002 there was the BizOPPAlliance and B.O.I.A.B "Business Opportunity In A Box"  or B.O.I.A.B. Founder and Partner program that was promised to be one of the hottest online / offline programs ever! Never done before they said, years in development they said.  I was to sell computer systems as well as a Plug and play CD Rom with a complete business solution burned in so simple that even a child could do it. You absolutely cannot fail they said. Maybe you've heard similar promises from online business offers that have led to the same conclusion disappointment and let down.  

I can honestly say that I believe the business model was sound. It was me that wasn't ready to succeed with any online business because I never took time to learn sound and proven online marketing methods. Until I did I would see no improvement in my online business endeavors.

When I finally began to earn a small income online promoting Google Ads on my websites I thought I was on top of the world. I was  earning  more than I ever had online before, but it didn't last more than a few months. Not only wasn't I making the amount of money I thought I deserved, what I was making was very inconsistent, not what you could call reliable income. I still had a lot to learn.

I didn't quit,  I started to spend money on one internet marketing course after another, anything that promised that I could make money online using this new secrets system or that. You know the ones I'm talking about the ones that say you will make six figures a year working less that 1 hour a week. I actually bought into one method after another getting very little success from anything that I tried. But still I didn't quit... and instead of giving up my dream I continued searching for the most profitable and effective ways to build an online business and make a reliable stream of income. 

Despite the empty bank account and constant frustration I just tried harder, every set back made me more determined to succeed and create a profitable business online. The way I looked at it was that I found all these ways that didn't work, I was one more step closer to finding a method that did. It had to happen...

I was constantly reading the success stories in forums, watching how the top guys were living the lifestyles that most of us only dream about.

Imagine Being Able To Do That and Much More!

I absolutely couldn't wait to live that "work from home" lifestyle making a huge monthly income online! I was like an Internet marketing sponge soaking up more and more information, more tactics, and just about any advice that I could from places like the Warrior Forum .

I continued my buying frenzy and purchased just about every course, WSO and offer that hit my inbox, if it looked halfway decent I got my hands on it. If they had a product launch more likely I bought it. It truly was a vicious cycle.

Because it didn't really matter how many courses I bought or how many webinars I joined... 

It always felt like there was some sort of ingredient that I was missing, a piece or pieces of the puzzle that I just was not finding. 

It got so bad that I started to become somewhat of an information addict! No matter how many courses I brought I was looking for my next fix!

Let's be honest, sometimes all of us are guilty looking for that "magic button"... the magic all encompassing solution that will bring us barrels of cash and change our lives. And even though we are smart enough to know they just don't exist, we keep on buying and hoping...

But through all this trying and failing  I actually learned a very important lesson that I want to pass on to you.  That is success takes persistence! Thanks to my own 'can't keep me down' attitude I eventually found enough methods that actually work together to come up with the same information I will provide to you.

You see, after looking everywhere at every opportunity to make money online I decided to come back to what I knew had worked for me initially... And that was building a profitable content based website. Yes I was back to square one but this time I was going to do it differently. Yes, I was going to implement the things that were proven to work for me in the past and omit what didn't.

Because of course, all of us love the idea of being able to work from home with the freedom to set our own hours.

In fact, I don’t think I’m being hyperbolic when I say that life shouldn’t be like this.

Should you really be spending the majority of your youth working for someone else?

Sitting in a dark room for 8 hours a day?

Feeling stressed?

Struggling to make ends meet?

Being shouted at as though you were a child?

For making minor mistakes on a project that you frankly don’t care about?

Shouldn’t life be free? Shouldn’t you be able to build something that you’re actually proud of, something that will benefit you and those who matter in your life?

Well hold it just there!

Before you get too disheartened, keep in mind that working online actually is a highly viable option for anyone. And internet marketing really can make you rich If that is what you're looking for. In fact, it has made an awful lot of people VERY rich.

And it’s fun. And it’s simple. And once you’ve set up your business model correctly, it will generate cash even while you sleep.

You'll learn valuable, in-demand skills that lots of employers want, and that will make you completely future proof.

This is the FUTURE of work in "The New Normal". This is the answer.
